Milestones

  • June 2019

    Discovery phase started.

KAIZEN started a product development project with the proof of concept of a “Sensor Scan” mobile application aimed at increasing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction results.

  • July 2019

Sensor Scan” first prototype was released.

    • +2 developers

A team of two developers programmed the first prototype incorporating scanner and back-end data transmission. A job order for a supermarket chain served as a testing ground, which allowed us to identify improvements and refine the product’s quality.

  • September 2019

KAIZEN is invited to work on the client’s Core Platform.

    • +3 developers

After our team visited the client’s headquarters in Boston, we began collaborating on the client’s Core Platform project.

  • March 2020

A fully updated software for the “Monitoring Task” app in the making.

    • +3 developers

Team Mobile was created to develop a custom mobile app from scratch for temperature monitoring, food safety, and quality assurance, replacing the existing legacy system with the latest technologies.

  • April-June 2020

A “digital health screening” app goes from inception to launch in one month.

Amidst the outbreak of the coronavirus, the project development priorities changed to focus on providing solutions based on market demands. The client trusted us with this urgency because of our quality and fast delivery.

  • August 2020

Sensor Scan app is released to production.

Thanks to the positive feedback of the prototype designed by our UX team, the application went into production being entirely developed by KAIZEN. The implementation of this app reduced by 50% the time on technicians visits.

  • September 2020

    Taking on new challenges.

The role of Scrum Master was given to a KAIZEN’s team member giving him the responsibility of coordinating the project teams across both companies.

  • October 2021

KAIZEN’s commercial team visits the client's headquarters.

This was the first commercial visit after the pandemic, focusing on establishing a strategy to give priority to all mobile developments first.

Kaizen is great with project management. Their level of talent and engagement with the product are outstanding; they execute well and put a lot of effort into understanding how everything works. Listen to their team’s recommendations and follow the practices they have in place because they know what they’re doing.
